Many of our members have donated items that are currently on display in Australia’s Orphanage Museum located in Geelong, Victoria. We also have received objects and memorabilia from Past Providers who ran Australia’s Orphanages and Children’s Homes.
If you have any objects, photographs, badges, annual reports, books, clothing, statues, plaques, signs, or any other memorabilia and would like a permanent place for it, perhaps you would like to donate it to Australia’s Orphanage Museum. CLAN is especially looking for items from Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland.
Any items donated to CLAN will be treated with respect and maintained to the highest standards of care.
CLAN is appreciative for all items received and all donations to Australia’s Orphanage Museum, small or large, will be displayed with the name of the donor and be acknowledged on CLAN’s website, our newsletter The Clanicle and in the Museum.
However, you can remain anonymous if you wish.
We are interested in the history and stories behind the items donated to us. Every item has an important story to tell.
